It's the Marine's turn now.

The Marine is boring but practical. His starting weapon is the best out of the four main classes, and it will easily clear out levels 1 and 2, although the level 2 boss
will be a problem if it's not the Gorgun.
The ammo drop is often wasted in normal runs, as there is normally only room to carry one activatable item.. It is, however, very useful in runs that start by skipping a
level or 4, because those let you pick an ammo-eating gun at the start. That makes the Marine a great character for those runs, but we won't be fixing the elevators in
this challenge.
Military training reduces weapon spread, reload times, and charge times. Spread reduction makes shotguns work a bit better for the Marine, almost everything benefits from reduced reload times, and faster charging is great if you find a good charging weapon... like the megahand. The bonuses aren't huge, but they are noticeable.

No Vulcan Cannon this time, but the game coughed up a hilariously broken combo: Omega Bullets, RPG, Scattershot, Crutch, and Homing Bullets.

Omega bullets cause the last shot in a magazine to do double damage. For single-shot weapons like the RPG launcher, that bonus applies to every shot!
Scattershot gives you 3 shots, each with 55% damage. So it's barely worth it if 2 shots hit, and great if all 3 hit.. which is actually quite likely with the Crutch
(which makes all bullets slightly homing) and Homing Bullets (which usually work with the RPG launcher).
On top of that, the rocket launcher normally does 20 impact damage and 30 explosive damage - and scattershot only nerfs the impact damage!

Put that all together and a single 3-rocket spread does 66 impact damage and 180 explosive damage!!! This absolutely stomped the Kill Pillars and the Dragun.
