The settlers 2, part 3.5: Proof of genocide
The collapse of the Nubians was surprisingly fast. Taking over the yellow tribe's land gave me access to more iron, which means more knights.
Eliminating the yellow tribe results in a huge number of spare knights who can be redeployed to the border with the red tribe.
On top of that, I finally figure out the game's interface: The fourth slider in the military settings controls how many knights are allowed to leave buildings when attacking. This should not be messed with lightly, because leaving buildings with only one defender is a good way to lose them. But when the enemy's on the defensive, going all-in on attacking them helps a lot.
Logistics continues to be a pain. Catapult ammo in particular takes a long time to get to where it's needed. I build a new warehouse to alleviate the problem, but even the building materials for that take a while to arrive.
Ultimately, even the red Nubians' elite Vega-cosplaying defense force can't save them.
