About this video: For a long time, I thought you needed third-party software in order to take screenshots easily on Windows.
However, I recently learned that you can use a simple shortcut to take screenshots using the print screen system that is built directly into Windows.
This is command and screenshot system is fully working on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, so let’s jump right on into it!
The command to take a screenshot on Windows is Windows Key + Shift + S. This will open the screenshot window where you can select an area you want to screenshot.
From there, the screenshot is now stored in your clipboard. You can paste it in a messaging app or photo editor.
However, when you take a screenshot, you will also see it appear in the bottom right of your monitor. Click the screenshot and an editor will appear where you can crop, markup and edit the screenshot.
And that is how you can take a screenshot on Windows super easily!
