About this video: First things first, why would you want to use the Fabulously Optimized modpack anyway? Well, this modpack gives you all of Optifine’s features including things like shaders without having to use Optifine. It is also setup out of the box to have the perfect mix of quality and high-FPS. This means you don’t have to stress over Optifine’s settings.
The first step of getting Fabulously Optimized for Minecraft is downloading CurseForge. CurseForge is the Launcher that Fabulously Optimized used. You can find a link to CurseForge in the description above.
That will actually take you to our text tutorial for CurseForge. On this page, click the ‘Download CurseForge button to be taken to the official download page. Here, click the download for windows button, and it will start downloading.
Now, we need to install CurseForge get Fabulously Optimized. You can do this by double-clicking the file you downloaded. You will then need to click next through the installer. Overwolf will also install. This is required for CurseForge.
With CurseForge installed, click on the games section. Then, click Minecraft. You may have to click Install/Setup Minecraft in CurseForge. After this, Fabulously Optimized is super easy to install. Just search for Fabulously Optimized in the search bar at the top of CurseForge. It will appear on screen. Click the install button on it, and Fabulously Optimized will begin installing.
