About this video: The Faithful texture pack is, arguably, the most popular Minecraft resource pack of all time. It takes Minecraft’s default look and aims to improve on it little by little. So, let’s go ahead and jump right on into how to download and install the Faithful texture pack in Minecraft!
First thing first, we need to download Faithful. You can find a link in the description above to download the Faithful resource pack. This will take you to our text tutorial for getting Faithful. On this page, click on the Download Faithful button to go to the official Faithful texture pack download page.
On this page, you can download Faithful by looking at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the version of Faithful that you want. This will work for any version of the Faithful texture pack. When you click download Faithful will start downloading right away. You may need to keep or save it depending on your browser.
With the faithful resource pack downloaded, we can move on to installing it. Start this by opening up Minecraft.
Then, from the Minecraft main menu, click on Options, Resource Pack. Next, click the ‘Open Pack Folder’ button in the bottom right. Your Minecraft resource pack folder will open. All you need to do to install Faithful at this point is drag-and-drop it into this resourcepack folder. It’s that easy.
You will need to activate Faithful. To activate Faithful, just hover over it in the ‘Available’ section and click the arrow that appears. This will move it to the ‘Selected’ section. When you click done, Faithful will activate. It is now installed.
