About this video: The Vault Hunters modpack is one of the most popular modpacks for Minecraft, and in this video, we show you exactly how to download and install the Vault Hunters modpack. What is Vault Hunters? Well, it is a modpack that adds in various vaults and dungeons that you can explore all with their own difficulties. In them you will find all kinds of unique rewards and options.
The first step of getting the Vault Hunters modpack is downloading and install CurseForge. CurseForge is the Launcher that allows you to easily download, manage, and play Minecraft modpacks with hundreds of mods in them.
You can find a link to CurseForge in the description above. That will take you to our complete guide on how to get CurseForge. Once you are there, scroll down and click the download CurseForge button to be taken to the CurseForge download page.
On the CurseForge download page click the ‘Download For Windows’ button. CurseForge will then start downloading.
With CurseForge downloaded, double click on it to open the installer. Click next through the installer until you reach the ‘Install’ button and click that as well. You will also be installing Overwolf’s app. This is the parent company of CurseForge and required for CurseForge to work.
Once CurseForge is finished, open it, and click ‘Minecraft’. You may have to install/setup Minecraft if it is the first time you have opened it. If so, do that, and then, you will see a search bar appear at the top.
In this search bar, type ‘Vault Hunters’ the Vault Hunters modpack will appear. Hover over it and click the Install button. When you do this, Vault Hunters will start installing.
After it is finished, a Play button will appear. Click this, and the Minecraft Launcher will open. YOu will need to sign into Minecraft to play Vault Hunters. Once you do, just click the Play button and click Play again to confirm you are playing a modpack. Finally, the Vault Hunters modpack will open. You can now start and world and start hunting vaults and dungeons!
