How to Beat Strider (NES) in Under Five Minutes - Part 1 - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
6,163It's possible to beat Strider for the NES in under five minutes using a series of tricks and glitches. This is part 1 of what is basically a complete playthrough. In this video, we will finish the first area of the game: Kazakh.
To beat Kazakh super quickly, make your way to the left wall under a downward sloped slope and press left against the wall. It's the wall under the bottom of a one-way elevator that goes up, and if you hit the wall, it will spawn a hidden health pickup. That's the wall. After pressing all the way against the wall, hold down and right to duck.
Now the following steps are kind of a process. What you want to do is hit Left on the D-Pad and Start to pause at the same time. Your character will fidget just a little. While paused, hold down and right again to duck and then unpause with the start button. You'll be ducking down and facing to the right just like before, but this time you will be slightly more toward the left if you did it properly.
Keep repeating those steps: left and pause at the same time, hold down and right, then unpause. Eventually, this method will shift your character inside the wall on the left. When this happens, you'll see him begin to rise upward.
While Strider Hiryu (the protagonist) is rising upward while inside the wall, hold down and right. This should zip you into the lower area of the stage, which is usually only accessible after finding Key 3, which doesn't happen until like halfway into the game.
Note that this step can be picky, and some guides recommend that you hold left while rising upward in the wall, then LET GO of left as you appear at the bottom of the stage. I couldn't quite get it to work this way but it might work for you? Who knows?
Anyway, once you make it to that lower room, take the bottom path until you reach a scary boss named Zain. Defeat this boss, and you will earn many level ups and new abilities. You'll also acquire File 5, which you can analyze. After analysis, open your menu and Transfer to Australia.
