Cure the Final Boss TO DEATH in Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
In Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for the SNES, you can target the final boss The Dark King with the Cure spell to deal massive damage. The Dark King is not an undead character, so why does it damage him? Just another overflow bug! This glitch is often called the Cure exploit.
Simply cast the Cure spell on the final boss with your MAIN CHARACTER and the value will overflow to deal roughly 17,000 damage (depending on what weapon you have equipped and your Magic stat). In fact, casting the Cure spell with your main character on the final boss when he is in one of his other forms will sometimes deal about 30,000 damage, killing him outright, and skipping his other forms.
Casting the Cure spell with Phoebe on the Dark King will cause the value to overflow twice, which heals him like normal. This is because Phoebe has a crazy high Magic stat.
Anyway, exploiting this bug will usually finish the final battle in three turns.
