How to Capture a Game using OBS on PC (Easy Tutorial)
To capture a game using OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) on your PC, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open OBS Studio
Launch OBS on your computer.
Step 2: Create or Select a Scene
Create a New Scene or select an existing one where you want to capture the game.
Step 3: Add a Game Capture Source
In the “Sources” panel, click the “+” button at the bottom.
Select “Game Capture” from the list of source types.
Step 4: Name Your Game Capture Source
A dialog box will appear asking you to name the new source. Enter a name (e.g., "Game Capture") and click “OK”.
Step 5: Configure the Game Capture Source
Mode:
In the properties window, you will see a dropdown menu labeled "Mode". Select the mode that best suits your needs:
Capture any fullscreen application: Automatically captures any game running in fullscreen mode.
Capture specific window: Allows you to select a specific game window to capture.
Capture foreground window with hotkey: Captures the currently active window when you press a hotkey.
Window (if "Capture specific window" is selected):
If you selected "Capture specific window", use the "Window" dropdown menu to select the game you want to capture.
Other Settings:
Adjust additional settings as needed, such as "Capture Cursor" to show or hide the cursor, and "Use anti-cheat compatibility hook" if the game requires it.
Click “OK” to add the game capture source to your scene.
Step 6: Adjust the Game Capture Source
Resize and Position the Game Capture:
After adding the game capture, you can resize and reposition it within the scene by clicking and dragging the source in the preview window.
Use the corner handles to adjust the size and the center handle to move the game capture.

Right-Click the Game Capture Source:
If you want to apply additional effects, right-click the game capture source in the "Sources" panel and select "Filters".
