How to capture audio from a different source than your capture device in Ulead Video Studio
This video will show you how to capture audio from a different audio source than that which is included on your video capture device when capturing video in Ulead Video Studio. For example, in Windows XP the EasyCap EasyCapture DC60 USB capture device captures sound in a low quality (it is muddled and low fidelity). It would therefore be preferable to use a different audio device to capture audio in conjunction with the EasyCap DC60 instead of using the audio inputs of the EasyCap (one could think that a computer sound card or a USB microphone would provide better results.)
As it turns out, Ulead Video Studio relies on the default audio devices specified in Windows Sounds and Audio Devices to capture audio from, instead of what is set in Ulead Video Studio. Ideally, one would set their desired Voice Recording device and Sound Recording device in the Control Panel of their Windows operating system to ensure that the settings they specify in Ulead Video Studio's Options - Video and Audio Capture Properties setting are respected.
