How to Change Lighting on the Cooler Master MM711 With and Without Software
The Cooler Master MM711 has lighting effects that you can change using the MasterPlus software, or by using button combinations. On the mouse pressing a series of buttons together will allow you to change the lighting without any software.
With the MM711 you have the lighting options of static, breathing, color cycle, indicator, and off. Each mode is available through both the software and mouse functions. For static and breathing you can choose the color that is used for the lighting. Without software you have limited options, only able to select a preset color. If you are using the software then you can pick and choose a specific color that you want to use.
With the software changing the color is particularly easy. Clicking and dragging on the gradient circle will allow you to choose a specific color to use for your lighting effect. The brightness slider at the bottom will allow you to dim or brighten the light as you see fit.
