πŸ”‘ Adjusting your power mode settings can help optimize performance and battery life on your Windows 11 laptop or desktop. Whether you need more power for demanding tasks or want to conserve battery, here’s how to change the power mode on your device:

Steps to Change Power Mode on Windows 11:
Open Settings

Click on the Start menu and select Settings, or press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
Go to System

In the Settings window, click on System from the left sidebar.
Select Power & Battery

Scroll down and click on Power & Battery under the System section.
Adjust Power Mode

Under the Power section, you’ll see the Power mode option. Click on the drop-down menu next to Power mode to select your preferred setting.
Choose Your Desired Power Mode:

Best performance: For maximum performance, ideal for gaming or resource-heavy tasks. This mode uses more power.
Balanced: A good balance between power consumption and performance. This is the default option.
Best battery life: Optimizes power usage to extend battery life. Best for when you need to conserve battery.
Additional Settings (Optional)

You can also tweak additional settings like screen brightness, sleep settings, and battery saver mode to further optimize power usage.
Tips:
Battery Saver Mode: If you're using a laptop, enable Battery Saver to conserve energy when the battery is low (explained in the Battery Saver guide).
Power Plans: Consider using different power plans depending on your needs. For example, High Performance for gaming or Power Saver when traveling.
