π₯οΈ How to Change Screen Resolution in Windows 11 π₯οΈ
π Want to adjust your screen resolution for a sharper or more comfortable display on Windows 11? You can easily change your display resolution to fit your preferences or monitor capabilities. Follow these steps:
Steps to Change Screen Resolution in Windows 11:
Open Settings
Click on the Start button, then select Settings, or press Windows + I to open Settings directly.
Navigate to Display Settings
In the Settings menu, click on System, then select Display.
Choose Display Resolution
Scroll down to the Display resolution section. Click on the dropdown menu to see a list of available resolutions.
Select Your Preferred Resolution
Choose the resolution that best fits your needs. Higher resolutions offer clearer images, but lower resolutions can increase text and icon size, which may be more comfortable for some users.
Windows will automatically recommend an optimal resolution, often labeled as β(Recommended).β
Apply Changes
After selecting a resolution, click Apply. A prompt will appear asking if you want to keep the new resolution; select Keep changes if youβre satisfied.
Additional Settings (Optional)
Adjust Scale settings (just above Display resolution) if you want to change the size of text, apps, and other items on your screen for better readability.
Tips:
Recommended Resolution: Using the recommended resolution typically provides the best display quality.
External Monitors: If you have multiple displays connected, select the monitor you want to adjust under the Display section before changing the resolution.
π‘ Tip: Higher resolution settings may reduce the size of text and icons, so consider adjusting Scale settings to keep everything easily readable.
