How to Change the Sensitivity Curve on Dualsense Edge PS5 Controller (Aim Response Curve Setting)
23The DualSense Edge controller for the PS5 allows you to customize the sensitivity curve of its analog sticks. This feature lets you fine-tune how responsive the sticks are to your movements. Here’s how you can adjust the sensitivity curve:
Access Custom Profiles:
First, create or edit a custom profile for your controller.
Navigate to the Stick Sensitivity/Deadzone section within the profile settings.
Use the directional keys to select the items you want to change.
Choose a Sensitivity Curve:
Within the Stick Sensitivity section, you’ll find five built-in sensitivity curves:
Default: Standard PlayStation 5 sensitivity.
Quick: Accelerates input as you tilt the stick. Ideal for quick movements in fast-paced shooting games (e.g., Call of Duty).
Precise: Registers minimal input when you tilt the stick. Great for precise movements (e.g., using sniper rifles in games like Sniper Elite 5).
Steady: Limits input even when you tilt the stick far. Ensures smooth and stable movement (useful in action games).
Digital: Even slight tilting registers nearly maximum input.
Curve Adjustment:
After selecting a sensitivity curve, you can further adjust its effect.
The curve adjustment makes the sensitivity more or less severe.
Test your changes in-game to see how they align with your playstyle and the game’s interpretation of inputs.
Playtest and Fine-Tune:
While in the profile customization menu, press Function and Option together to return to the game.
Play and assess how the adjusted sensitivity feels.
You can always return to the customization screen to make additional tweaks
