How to use FN Button to Change Profile on Dualsense Edge PS5 Controller (Settings Tutorial)
7To change profiles on your DualSense Edge PS5 controller, follow these steps:
Create Custom Profiles:
Go to Settings on your PS5.
Select Accessories.
Choose DualSense Edge Wireless Controller.
Navigate to Custom Profiles.
Select Create Custom Profile.
Enter a name for your custom profile and confirm.
Customize various settings, such as button assignments, stick sensitivity, deadzone, trigger deadzone, and vibration intensity.
Assign Profiles to Shortcuts:
In the Unassigned Profiles tab, select the profile you want to assign.
Choose one of the three available shortcuts (triangle, circle, or cross button).
The profile assigned to the Fn button and the triangle button is the default profile and cannot be changed.
Assign profiles you’ve created to the other three shortcuts.
Use Profile Shortcuts During Gameplay:
Hold down the Fn button on your controller.
Press one of the action buttons (triangle, circle, cross, or square) to switch to the assigned profile.
The default profile is always accessible via the Fn button and triangle button shortcut.
Customize Button Assignments:
Create or edit a custom profile.
Select Customize Button Assignments.
Choose the button you want to modify.
Assign a new function to it (or disable it).
Press Apply to save your changes.
Press and hold the Fn button, then press the Options button to return to the customization menu.
