How to Connect PS5 Dualsense Edge Controller to PS5 Console (Wired or Wireless)
10To connect your PS5 DualSense Edge controller to your PS5 console, follow these steps:
Wired Connection:
Turn on your PS5 console.
Connect the DualSense Edge controller to your console using the included USB cable.
Press the PS button on the controller. The controller will power on, and after the light bar blinks, the player indicator lights up.
Once your controller has enough battery life, you can disconnect the USB cable and use it wirelessly.
Pairing Wirelessly:
Ensure your PS5 console is switched on.
Connect the controller to your console using the included USB cable (for the first pairing).
If your controller is turned off, press the PS button. After the light bar blinks, the player indicator lights up.
Remember that your controller can pair with only one PS5 console at a time. When using it on another console, you’ll need to pair it with that one.
You can use up to four controllers simultaneously, with each player assigned a different color when pressing the PS button.
Software Updates:
Always update the system software of your PS5 console and the device software of your controller to the latest version.
