15Adjusting the deadzones on your DualSense Edge PS5 controller can enhance your gaming experience. Here’s how you can do it:
Create or Edit a Custom Profile:
Go to Settings - Accessories.
Select DualSense Edge Wireless Controller - Custom Profiles.
Choose Create Custom Profile, give it a name, and select OK.
Now you can customize various settings within this profile.
Stick Sensitivity and Deadzone:
Within the custom profile, select Stick Sensitivity/Deadzone.
Use the directional keys to navigate and adjust the stick sensitivity and deadzone.
Stick sensitivity affects how responsive the sticks are, while deadzone determines the minimum input required for stick movement.
Experiment with different settings to find what suits your play style best.
Trigger Deadzone:
Still within the custom profile, select Trigger Deadzone.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set the input range for both left and right triggers.
You can fine-tune this to your preference for more accurate shooting.
Button Assignments:
Customize button assignments to make the controller more intuitive for you.
Assign specific functions to buttons according to your preference.
Remember that you can’t assign the Fn button to another function.
Profile Shortcuts:
Assign profile shortcuts for quick switching during gameplay.
Hold down the Fn button and press an action button (triangle, circle, cross, or square) to switch profiles.
The default profile is assigned to the Fn button and triangle button shortcut.
Feedback When Switching Profiles:
Configure your controller to vibrate and flash its player indicator when switching profiles.
Go to the home screen, select Settings - Accessories - DualSense Edge Wireless Controller- Receive Feedback When Switching Profiles.
