How to Change your Email Address on your Steam Account (Fast Tutorial)
0To change your email address on your Steam account using your Steam Deck, follow these steps:
1. Open Steam Settings:
Press the Steam button to open the main menu.
Scroll down and select Settings.
2. Go to Account Settings:
In the Settings menu, select the Account tab.
3. Manage Your Steam Account:
Click on the View Account Details button. This will take you to your account details page.
4. Update Email Address:
On the account details page, scroll down to the Contact Info section.
Next to your current email address, click on the Change email address link.
5. Verify Your Identity:
Steam will prompt you to verify your identity. Depending on your security settings, you may be asked to enter your Steam Guard code (sent to your current email or mobile authenticator) or answer a security question.
6. Enter New Email Address:
After verifying your identity, Steam will ask you to enter your new email address.
Input the new email address you want to associate with your Steam account.
7. Confirm the Change:
Steam will send a confirmation email to your new email address. Check your inbox for an email from Steam and click the verification link within it to confirm the change.
8. Check Your Account:
Once you've confirmed the change through the email, your Steam account will be updated with the new email address.
