How to Remove Widgets from your Home Screen on Android Phone (Settings Tutorial)
Removing widgets from your Android home screen is quite straightforward. Here are a few methods you can use:
Long-Press and Drag:
Locate the widget you wish to remove on your home screen.
Tap and hold the widget. A menu will pop up.
Look for the “Remove” option. Depending on your launcher, it might appear as a trashcan or an “x” icon.
If you don’t see either icon or no menu, drag your finger with the widget to the top of your screen. One of those icons should appear. Release your finger to drop the widget onto the trashcan icon, and it will be removed from your home screen.
Repeat this process for any other widgets you want to remove.
Uninstalling Widgets from Settings:
Open your Settings app.
Tap on “Apps” (or “Application Manager”).
Find the app associated with the widget you’d like to uninstall.
Tap “Uninstall”. If the app was installed from the Google Play Store, it will be uninstalled along with the widget. If it came pre-installed on your phone, you might need to disable it instead.
Uninstalling Widgets from the Play Store:
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
Find the app related to the widget you want to remove and uninstall it from there
