To mute your microphone on the Steam Deck, follow these steps:

Open the Quick Access Menu:

Press the "..." button on the right side of your Steam Deck to open the Quick Access Menu.
Navigate to the Sound Settings:

In the Quick Access Menu, scroll down to the sound icon, which is represented by a speaker symbol.
Adjust Microphone Settings:

Once you're in the sound settings, you'll see options for volume control. Look for the microphone settings (usually indicated with a mic icon). Here, you can adjust the microphone volume or mute it entirely.
Toggle the Microphone On/Off:

You can either lower the microphone volume to zero or toggle the mute option to disable the microphone.
Exit the Menu:

Press the "B" button to exit the Quick Access Menu once you’ve made the changes.
Now your microphone should be muted. If you want to unmute it later, you can follow the same steps and adjust the settings accordingly.
