In this video I will show you how to change or edit your Display Name/Username on your Google Account. Changes to your name will be reflected across your Google Account and all of Google's Services such as YouTube and Gmail for example.
Who can see your name on your Google Account?
Anyone can see this information when they communicate with you or view content that you create in Google services.
Steps To Change Your Google Account's Display Name:
1. Log into your Google Account that you want to change the display name for.
2. Once logged in go to your Google Accounts home page at the following link https://myaccount.google.com or by left click on your profiles picture at the top right hand corner and clicking on "manage my Google Account".
3. In your Google Accounts home page on the left hand side click on "personal info"
4. In Basic info click the arrow next to your current name.
5. Change your first name and (or) last name. You can remove your last name if you want, by deleting the text that's currently there and leaving it blank.
6. Once you are happy with your newly changed name click "save"
Congratulations you have successfully changed your display name on your Google Account.
