In this video I'll show you how to change your shipping address on eBay. I'll show you how to do this through both the eBay app and the eBay website. If you need to change your shipping address after a purchase, you're only option is to contact the seller, have them cancel the transaction, and then you purchase the item again after updating your eBay shipping information as outlined in this video.
First let's look at how to change your shipping address on eBay using the eBay mobile app.
Step 1. Launch the eBay app and then tap "My eBay" in the menu along the bottom of the home screen. A menu is displayed.
Step 2. Tap "Settings" at the top of the menu screen that's displayed. The Settings screen is shown.
Step 3. Tap "Shipping Address" in the Account section. The Shipping Address screen is displayed, showing your current primary shipping address.
Step 4. In this example I'll choose to add a new address and then make that my primary shipping address. As a result, I'll tap "Add Address." The Address screen is displayed.
Step 5. Enter the information associated with the address you want to be your new primary shipping address, and then click to enable the toggle associated with "Make Primary" to make this address your new primary shipping address. Tap "Done" when you're finished. A screen is shown asking whether you want to use the specific address you entered, or a recommended address that more closely aligns with your postal service provider.
Step 6. In this example I'll choose to use the recommended address. You'll be routed back to the Shipping Address screen, where you'll now see your new address as the primary shipping address. If you want to delete your old address, simply tap that address and then tap "Delete" at the bottom of the next screen.
Next let's walk through the steps to change your shipping address on eBay using the eBay.com website.
Step 1. Open a web browser, navigate to www.eBay.com, and then log in to your eBay account if prompted. You'll land on your eBay home screen.
Step 2. Tap the drop-down arrow next to your eBay profile name at the top of the screen to open a menu, and then click "Account Settings" in that menu. The My eBay screen is displayed.
Step 3. Navigate to the Personal Info section, and then click "Addresses." The Addresses screen is shown.
Step 4. Click "Edit" next to Shipping Address. The Shipping Address screen is displayed.
Step 5. In this example I'll choose to add a new address and then make that address my primary shipping address. As a result, I'll click "Add Another Address." The Add Address screen is displayed.
Step 6. Enter the information associated with the address you want to be your new primary shipping address, and then click the check box next to "Save As My Primary Address" to make this address your new primary shipping address. Click "Save" when you're finished. A screen is shown asking whether you want to use the specific address you entered, or a recommended address that more closely aligns with your postal service provider.
Step 7. In this example I'll choose to use the recommended address. You'll be routed back to the Shipping Address screen, where you'll now see your new address as the primary shipping address. If you want to delete your old address, simply click "Delete" next to that address.
