That includes how to download Minecraft skins, how to install a new skin in Minecraft, and even how to easily switch between multiple skins all without having to download anything but the skins you want to add to Minecraft.
First things first, we need to download a skin. In the description above, you will find a link to the Skindex where you can search for and download millions of different Minecraft 1.20.1 skins. Truly, there is a skin for everyone on the Skindex.
However, if you can’t get a skin for Minecraft 1.20.1 that you like, you cane make one yourself. We have a guide on exactly how to do this in the description above. You can even take an existing Minecraft skin and add your own touch to it.
With your Minecraft Java Edition skin downloaded, open up the Minecraft Launcher. At the top of the Minecraft Launcher, you will see a “Skins” tab. Click that. This is where you can change and manage all of your Minecraft 1.20.1 skins.
Click the “New Skin” button. This opens a screen where you can add a new skin to Minecraft. Name the skin anything you want, select your player model, and browse to select the skin on your computer. If you have a cape, you can select that as well. Then, click the “Save and Use” button to save and change your skin.
You can add multiple skins to Minecraft Java Edition in the skins tab. These can easily be switched between in this menu. Just hover over the skin you want to change to and click “Use”. The skin will then be activated.
Now, you can play Minecraft 1.20.1, and to make sure that you do have the skin you want, you can click “F5” on your keyboard a few changes to change the camera in Minecraft. One of these camera views will be looking at you and your skin.
