How To Change Your YouTube Channels Name And Your YouTube Username Without Changing Your Google Accounts Display Name

In this video, I will show you how to change your YouTube channels name and your YouTube username, without changing your other google services display names on your google account. Please note, changing your YouTube name will remove your verification badge if you're verified on YouTube.

Steps To Change Your YouTube Channel Name And Username:

1. Open up your browser, navigate to https://www.youtube.com and sign in to your Google account to continue to YouTube
2. Once you're signed in, click on your profile picture at the top right hand corner
3. Click "Your channel" to be taken to your YouTube channels page
4. Click "Customize Channel" and a new tab will open taking you to your YouTube Studio
5. Under Channel Customization in your YouTube Studio, click the "Basic info" tab
6. Under "Channel name and description" click on the pencil icon next to your current YouTube channel name to edit your channel name
7. In the text box called name, enter your new YouTube channel name and username
8. Once done, click Publish
9. Close out of your channel customization page on your YouTube channel and you will be taken back to the first browser tab where you were viewing your public YouTube channel
10. Click on the refresh button on your browser to refresh the page and see your new YouTube channel name and YouTube username.

Note: If the change isn't instantaneous, it may take a few days for the new name to update and display across YouTube.

Congratulations, you have successfully changed your YouTube channel name and username.
