How to Deactivate PS5 as Home so you Can Enable on ANOTHER PS5 Console (Best Method)
3Deactivating "Console Sharing and Offline Play" on one PS5 to enable it on another is a common task, especially when upgrading consoles or moving to a new location. The method you use depends on whether or not you have physical access to the console you want to deactivate.
The Best Method: Deactivating Directly on the Console
If you have access to the PS5 you want to deactivate, this is the quickest and most straightforward method.
Log in to the account that currently has "Console Sharing and Offline Play" enabled on the PS5 you want to deactivate.
From the home screen, go to Settings (the gear icon in the top right corner).
Navigate to Users and Accounts.
In the left-hand menu, select Other.
Choose Console Sharing and Offline Play.
Select the "Disable" option.
Once you have done this, the console is no longer the "home" for your account, and you are free to enable the feature on a new PS5.
