How to Share your Voice in Friends Live Stream on PS5 Twitch or Youtube (Best Method)
For your voice to be included in your friend's live stream on Twitch or YouTube from their PS5, there's a specific permission you need to enable. This is the single most important step for you as the person joining the stream.
The "best method" is to change your voice chat settings to allow your voice to be shared. Your friend, the streamer, also needs to have a setting enabled on their end.
Step 1: Allow Your Voice to Be Shared (The most crucial step for you)
This is the setting you need to change. It's a privacy setting that allows your voice to be picked up by your friend's broadcast.
Join the Party: Make sure you are in a party voice chat with your friend who is live streaming.
Open the Control Center: Press the PS button on your DualSense controller.
Navigate to Game Base: Go to the "Game Base" card, which is where your parties are located.
Go to Party Voice Chat Settings:
With your party selected, go to the right to find the "..." (More) option.
Select it, and then go to Voice Chat Settings.
Enable "Share Your Voice":
In the Voice Chat Settings menu, find the option that says "Share Your Voice" or "Allow Your Voice to be Shared."
Make sure this is set to "Allow." A description will state that this includes your voice in other players' broadcasts and video clips when you are in a party with them.
