About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how to download and install data packs in Minecraft 1.13. We have a list of the best Minecraft 1.13 data packs linked in the description, and in the video, I show you how to get data packs up and running in Minecraft.
Now, it is worth mentioning that data packs are world specific and your world MUST be updated to version 1.13 for them to work. What this means is that if you switch into a different world, the new world will not have the data packs you have installed unless you add them. I personally think this is really cool as that means you can have different packs set up for a different world in order to switch things up whenever you want.
Something else worth noting here is that while data packs are mods to Minecraft. They don't use Forge or anything like that. What this means is that data pack mods aren't as advanced as Forge mods will be for Minecraft 1.13 as Forge mods because many Forge mods have years of development behind them.
