About this video: In this video, I go over exactly how to download and install Minecraft modpacks using the Twitch App. This video also shows you how to install #FTB modpacks as all Feed The Beast modpacks are installed using the Twitch App. In this video, we actually install StoneBlock 2, SevTech, and an FTB modpack. I also show you how to delete #MinecraftModpacks using the Twitch App, and on top of all that, I go over how you can add more mods to Twitch Modpacks. Let's go ahead and jump right on into it!
First and foremost, you need to download the Twitch App. You can find to download link for the Twitch App above. This is the exact same as the FTB Launcher now as Twitch bought Feed The Beast and combine their launcher with the Twitch App. After you have the Twitch App/FTB Launcher downloaded, you need to install it. This is very easy. Just double click on the file you downloaded and go through the installation process just like any app.
Next up, you will need to login to your Twitch account. You must have a Twitch account to play modpacks using the Twitch App. After you've logged in to the Twitch App, you can click the 'Mods' tab in the menu bar. You will then see 'Minecraft' light up while the rest of the games will most likely be greyed out. Click on 'Minecraft', and then, click the purple' install' button in the bottom center of the Twitch App.
Minecraft will then install so you can get #Minecraft modpacks with the Twitch app. Once it's done, you will see a 'search all modpacks' button show up. Click that, and you will be able to search for and browse all of the modpacks from Feed The Beast and hundreds of other modpack creators who upload their packs to CurseForge.
Installing a modpack is very easy once you find it. Just click the purple 'install' button, and the modpack will begin installing. Once it is done, you will be able to click the purple 'Play' button to start playing your modpack. You can install as many modpacks as you want, and you can play on them all easily by clicking the 'mods' tab in the Twitch launcher.
