About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how to download and install VoxelMap in Minecraft 1.14.4. VoxelMap for 1.14.4 is a great minimap. It is by far the best and most extensive minimap mod for Minecraft 1.14.4. In addition to a minimap, it also has a world map allowing you to see your entire world dragging around and checking it all out quickly and easily. It also works on servers unlike some other minimaps allowing you to see some pretty incredible things on survival Minecraft servers.
Other features of VoxelMap include waypoints, mob icons, nether mapping, biome overlays, and so much more. Yep! All of these features are up and running allow you to get waypoints in Minecraft 1.14.4 as well. Thus, without any further delay, let's go ahead and jump right on into how you can download and install VoxelMap in Minecraft 1.14.4!
First and foremost, we will need to download #VoxelMap. This is very, very easy. Just go to the VoxelMap link in the description above to be take to your tutorial on installing VoxelMap. Once you are there, click the yellow 'Download VoxelMap' button. You will then be taken off to the official VoxelMap download page where you can scroll down a bit and look in the right-hand sidebar to see the 'Minecraft 1.14.4' section. Here, you will see a '(Forge)' version of VoxelMap for 1.14.4. Download that, and you have successfully downloaded a minimap mod for Minecraft 1.14.4!
Now, we still need to download and install Forge. Luckily, we have an in-depth Forge tutorial linked above that goes over every step of getting Forge in Minecraft 1.14.4. From the download to getting it running, that covers it all in great detail, so go check that to get the correct version of Forge installed to install a minimap mod in Minecraft 1.14.4.
After Forge has in fact been installed, you can install VoxelMap #MinecraftMod for 1.14.4. To do this, click the Windows icon in the bottom left of your screen, and search for 'Run'. This will pull up the Run application where you want to type '%appdata%' and hit enter. Your roaming folder will open up, and you will see a '.minecraft' folder. Click that folder, and you should have a 'mods' folder. If you don't, no worries! Just create one. Now, open that folder and drag-and-drop the 'VoxelMap' file you downloaded into the mods folder. You have now installed VoxelMap in Minecraft 1.14.4!
You aren't done just yet though; you still need to make sure you are playing the Forge version of Minecraft. To do this, open up the #Minecraft launcher, click on 'versions' at the top, find the version titled 'Forge', hover over it, and click the green 'Play' button that appears. Minecraft 1.14.4 will now open up with the VoxelMap mod installed!
