How to Empty your Trash Can on Android Phone to Free Up Space (Settings Tutorial)
Clear the Trash in Google Photos
Launch the Google Photos app on your Android phone.
In the bottom bar, tap “Library.”
On the “Library” screen, tap “Trash.”
In the top-right corner, tap the three dots.
From the three-dot menu, select “Empty Trash.”
Confirm your choice by choosing “Allow.” Keep in mind that everything in your trash will be permanently deleted, so make sure you’re okay with that.
Empty the Trash in Files by Google
Open the Files by Google app on your phone.
Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
Select “Trash.”
Your deleted files will be displayed here.
Choose “All Items” to select all your files.
Tap “Delete” at the bottom.
Confirm your decision. Remember that once files are permanently deleted, you won’t be able to recover them
