How to FIX if you Can't Enable your PS5 as Home Console (Best Method)
If you're having trouble enabling "Console Sharing and Offline Play" on your PS5, it's almost always because the feature is already enabled on another PS5 console. This is the single most common cause, as the feature is limited to one console per account at a time.
The Best Method: Deactivating Your Other Console
The solution is to disable the feature on the other console and then re-enable it on the one you want to use.
If you have access to the other console:
Log in to your PlayStation Network account on the console where "Console Sharing and Offline Play" is currently active.
Go to Settings (the gear icon).
Navigate to Users and Accounts - Other - Console Sharing and Offline Play.
Select Disable.
Once you've done this, you can go back to your desired PS5 and enable the feature.
If you DON'T have access to the other console:
If the other console is lost, stolen, or at a friend's house and you can't access it, you will have to use the official PlayStation website to deactivate all devices on your account.
Open a web browser on your computer or phone and go to the official PlayStation Network Account Management website.
Sign in to your account.
Navigate to Device Management - PlayStation Consoles.
Select Deactivate All Devices.
