How to RESET Xbox One Controller & Connect to Console (Fast Method)
2Resetting and connecting an Xbox One controller to the console is a straightforward process. Follow these steps:
Resetting the Xbox One Controller:
If the controller is currently connected to the Xbox One console, disconnect it.
Turn off the Xbox One console.
Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller, near the top. It's a tiny hole.
Use a small pin or a similar tool to press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds.
Release the reset button.
Connecting the Xbox One Controller:
Turn on your Xbox One console.
On the front of the Xbox One console, locate the circular Connect button. The location varies depending on the Xbox One model:
On the original Xbox One, the Connect button is on the left side of the console, near the disc tray.
On the Xbox One S and Xbox One X, the Connect button is on the front of the console, near the IR blaster.
On the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, the Connect button is on the front of the console, near the bottom-left corner.
