Only works in the English versions, and unfortunately not in Crystal. Please note that all I did was slightly alter TheZZAZZGlitch's Coin Case trick to get Celebi, as seen here, so almost all of the credit for this trick goes to him. See this link for more information including the original items list, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpfgOVfGVTo

All you have to do is use the same set up; i.e. that Quagsire with HP Up in 4th position and Sleep Talk as the first move, a low level Pokémon in the third position, a Pokémon that will get replaced in the first position and the stored items set up, but have two more stacks of Great Balls x4 below the first Great Ball x4! Then load a save from Elm's lab and walk 4 steps to the right before listening to Bellsprout/Machop/Machoke's cry, shifting item pockets then using the Coin Case. Then Fly to the Daycare Center, deposit your first Pokémon then withdraw it again for it to change.

The way that this change works is to do with the fact that the register 'b' gets changed to 'FB' at some point, so having two pairs of 'inc b'; hex: 04, the same as Great Ball and the quantity 04 will increase 'b' by one four times, and FB+4=FF.

With this, you can perform the Johto guard glitch and the over six Pokémon glitches, like getting glitch Unown without the bad clone glitch.

Inspired by the Glitch Pokézine project and how artists drew certain Johto guard glitch Pokémon from Generation I, even though you can get them with 8F or w sm and possibly the remaining HP glitch. Again, huge thanks to TheZZAZZGlitch for the original code without the extra Great Balls.

Note that your stored item order is important, as well as switching item pockets after listening to Bellsprout or Machop/Machoke's cry and before using the Coin Case.

At the end of the video, I show how you can get rid of ????? (FF) by entering the Bug-Catching Contest held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday in Johto's National Park.
