Viewing the glitch Unown hex: 47 in the UnownDex will corrupt the map, like werster and ringrush's map corruption and ????? 00's map corruption in Crystal, but not much. With this you can go on to Cycling Road without a Bicycle by cutting the tree west of Celadon City, then viewing Unown $47 from the second set of 'posts' from the right and then walking one step right, one step left, and down but I don't know of a way to register glitch Unown 0x47 in the UnownDex without cheating.

In Cycling Road, if you encounter a Pokémon or beat a Trainer you will be automatically be put on to a Bicycle even if it's not in your items pack.

You can force glitch Unown into the UnownDex by withdrawing more than six Pokémon with the help of a ????? 00. Pokémon 11's fourth PP changes the first Unown in the UnownDex, but trouble is $47 corresponds to 7 PP with one PP Up used, and when you deposit Pokémon it heals them. No move can have 7 PP/1 PP Up move at full PP, leaving this glitch 'impossible', but OHKO moves come close and can have a max of 6 PP with one PP Up used.
