399In this video I show you how to get bee eggs in Grow a Garden. You can get bee eggs from the honey merchant, which is one of the travelling merchants in Grow a Garden. Travelling merchants randomly spawn next to the seed store, and will stay around for 30 minutes. There are several possible travelling merchants so you won’t see the honey merchant every time.
Once the honey merchant appears you will need to talk to them and select “Show me the shop!”, then scroll down and purchase the bee egg. Every time the honey merchant spawns there should be one bee egg available. To purchase the bee egg you will need 18 honey, which is a unique currency obtained by trading pollinated fruits to the honey merchant.
One of the best ways to get honey in Grow a Garden is to use coconuts. This is because you get more honey for heavier pollinated plants. Coconuts have a high base weight, can grow fairly large, and has many fruits per plant. This means even with just one coconut tree you can get a lot of honey. In addition, you will also need a pet that can pollinate fruit. The more pets you have with the ability to pollinate fruits the faster the process will be. Some pets with the pollination ability include the bee, honey bee, petal bee, queen bee, wasp, and tarantula hawk.
To get pollinated fruits fast it’s best to only have the fruit you want to be pollinated in your garden. As coconuts are the best you will only want to have coconut trees in your garden, with no other fruit. This will ensure that when a pet goes to pollinate a fruit it will be a coconut.
If you don’t have any pets with the ability to pollinate fruit then you can try obtaining one by trading with other players, or by asking a friend for some pollinated fruit that you can trade if for honey to get your first bee egg.
To get honey fast in Grow a Garden you can use pets with the ability to duplicate harvested fruit, such as Giant Ants and Stegosauruses. Additionally, you can use a T-Rex to spread the pollination to other fruits.
Once you have pollinated fruits you will then need to trade them in to the honey merchant. When talking to the honey merchant you can select the “Take all my plants” option to trade in all of your pollinated fruits for honey. This will submit all of your pollinated fruits.
After you get bee eggs you can then make then use them to craft Anti Bee eggs or place them in your garden to hatch them. When hatching your bee eggs you can use Koi to give a chance of keeping the egg. With more Koi the chance will be better, however, this does cap out at a 50% chance. Additionally, if you choose to sell a pet you got from a bee egg then you can place Seals in your garden for a chance to receive an egg back when selling. Like the Koi, Seals have a maximum cap of 50%, even if you have 8 Seals in your garden.
