How to Fix Lag in Roblox Mobile – Blox Fruits Lagging
85In this video I show you how to fix lag on Roblox mobile. I also show additional tips which are helpful if you are lagging in Blox Fruits. One of the easier solutions is to try changing your graphics settings. You can do this by tapping on the Roblox icon in the top left, then selecting settings. Here you can set your graphics mode to automatic then test playing Roblox. By having your graphics mode set to automatic the quality will be adjusted to what your device can handle.
Alternatively, you can also fix lag issues by lowering your graphics settings. This is particularly helpful if the lag you’re experiencing is due to FPS drops and performance. To reduce your graphic settings on Roblox mobile you will need to set the graphics mode to Manual and adjust the graphics quality setting. Typically, using 3 bars will work fine. However, you can also try using 2 or 1 bar if you’re still lagging in Roblox mobile. Additionally, you can turn off haptics and turn on reduce motion to further improve performance.
Another way to fix lag in Roblox mobile is to make sure you’re connected to your Wi-Fi. For this you will typically want to leave the game, then check your phone or iPad settings. Additionally, you may also have 2 versions of your Wi-Fi. If there are 2 versions of your Wi-Fi then the name will typically be the same, however one will say 2.4G and the other will say 5G. You can try connecting to your other Wi-Fi option if available to fix lag in Blox Fruits and Roblox. In most cases the 2.4G option will provide a more stable connection at longer distances, while the 5G option will give better connection and speeds at closer distances.
You can also try turning on aeroplane mode in your settings. Once enabled wait a few moments then turn aeroplane mode back off. In some instances this can fix connectivity issues and stop you from lagging. While aeroplane mode is turned on your Wi-Fi will be off, meaning you may be disconnected from your game if you’re still in one.
If you are still lagging on Roblox mobile then be sure to check if you have low power mode turned on. You can find this option in your mobile settings, for iPhone and iPad it will be in the Battery options. If low power mode is turned on then your mobile will be trying to save power by limiting its performance. This can case lag and FPS drops while gaming. To fix this you will want to turn off low power mode and reopen Roblox to ensure that the frame rate and lag issues are fixed. Additionally, if your battery is low then you may want to charge your mobile device to ensure you get the best performance.
Another option is to play Roblox in a private server. Many games allow you to make a private server for free, however, even if they don’t then you may have a friend that has a private server you can join. To join a private server you will need to select the game you want to play, then tap on the social button and select the Join Connections option. This will take you to the server page where you can see all the private servers you have access to for your selected game.
When playing in a private server you will typically have a decent connection, while also being able to play with less people in your game. Having less players in your game can help reduce lag in Roblox mobile as any animations required for other players can put extra demand on your device. This can be particularly helpful when trying to fix lag in Blox Fruits on mobile due to all the abilities.
Alternatively, if you don't have access to a private server then you can play in a public server with less players. Fortunately, this can be done on the same page as the private servers. Simply scroll down to the Other Servers heading, then set the Number of Players option to Ascending. This will sort all the public servers from those with the least amount of players to those with the most. Once done you can tap on the Join button the server you want to join. Depending on the game you might only want to join a server with 1 or 2 other players in it.
