Fix Roblox Not Sending 2 Step Verification Code – Verification Not Working
72In this video I show you how to fix Roblox not sending 2 step verification code. One solution if you’re not receiving the 2 step verification code is to make sure the code is being sent where you think it is. Depending on your verification method you may be receiving an email, text, or need to use the code from your authenticator app. Additionally, if you are receiving the code in your email then you will need to check the Junk and Spam folders to ensure you aren’t missing the email. You will also want to select the “All Mail” option when using Gmail.
Another solution if you’re not receiving the 2 step verification code is to use one of your backup codes. Once you have setup 2 factor authentication on your Roblox account you will have the option to generate backup codes. If you have done this then you will be able to use one of your saved codes to sign into your Roblox account. However, if you don’t have access to your backup codes, or didn’t create any then this won’t be an option.
Fortunately, you can also use quick sign-in to get access to your Roblox account. This allows you to sign in if 2 step verification isn’t working. To use the quick sign-in method you will need to go back to the login menu and select the “Use Another Device” or “Quick Sign-In” button. Once done you will see a code, you will need to enter this code on the device you’re already signed into. This requires you to go to More, then select Quick Sign-In from the settings. On the Quick Sign-In page you will need to enter the code into the provided box, then select Enter and Confirm Login. Once done you will be signed into your Roblox account on your other device.
If none of the previous options work then you will need to try signing in again, then select the “Roblox Support” text. This will open another page where you will need to scroll down to the “Contact Support” heading and click the “contact Customer Support” text to open the support page. Typically, you will need to confirm your birthday first, then you will get access to the Roblox support form which you will need to fill out. For the issue details you will need to set the device to whatever you’re trying to sign in on. Following this you will need to set the Category to “Account Hacked or Can’t Log in” and the subcategory to “Lost access to my 2-step verification method”. Once done you can use the description box to explain the issue that you are having. If you are receiving the code in your email, then be sure to explain that you have checked your Junk and Spam folders. Once done click the Continue button then wait for Roblox support to contact you.
