7In this video I show you how to fix lag in Grow a Garden on mobile and iPad. There are a few reasons why you might be lagging in Grow a Garden, meaning there are a number of possible solutions. One possible solution is to set the Roblox graphics mode setting to Automatic. This will adjust the graphics quality to a level suits your device. However, you can also try setting the graphics mode to manual and the quality to 3 bars. You can further lower the graphics quality to 2 or 1 bar to try fix the Roblox lagging issue.
Another reason why you may be lagging in Grow a Garden is because of your internet connection. If this is the case then you can check to see if there are 2 versions of your Wi-Fi. In some cases there may be a 2.4G and 5G option, typically they will have the same name except one will have 2.4G in the name while the other will have 5G in the name. Changing to the alternate version of your Wi-Fi can potentially fix lag in Roblox, however, this depends on your situation. In cases where you are a long way from your modem or router the 2.4G version will typically give a more stable connection. However, if you are close to your modem or router then using the 5G version can improve your connection.
If you’re still lagging in Grow a Garden then you can check the Battery settings on your mobile. You will want to turn off Low Power Mode to ensure you get the best performance from your mobile. Additionally, if your mobile is running low on battery then charging your device can ensure your mobile is running at maximum performance.
Another solution is to close other applications to ensure no resources are being used in the background. When doing this I also like to close the Roblox app as well, then reopen it. This ensures your resources are free to be used only on Roblox to stop lag.
In some cases you may be experiencing lag in Grow a Garden because of FPS drops or performance issues. One solution to play in a private server, or a server with less players. With less players in the game there will be less plants and pets, which require resources to render in and display in game. Fortunately, it is currently free to make a private server in Grow a Garden.
You can create a private server by selecting Grow a Garden, then tapping on the Social Button and selecting Join Connections. This will take you to the server page, where you can choose to create a private server. If you don’t have the ability to make a private server then you can scroll down to the Other Servers heading and select the drop menu. Here you can select Ascending to sort the public Grow a Garden servers from least players to the most. Once done you can join a private server with 1 or 2 players.
Another possible solution is to restart your mobile. This can help close any background processes and ensure everything with working correctly. Once your mobile has restarted you can reopen Roblox.
