How to Hide or Disable Desktop Audio in Mixer on OBS PC (Easy Tutorial)
If you’re using OBS Studio and want to hide or disable desktop audio in the mixer, here are a few steps you can follow:
Separate Audio Tracks:
Update OBS to version 28 or newer.
In OBS settings, configure your audio devices.
Add an application audio capture source for each application you want to capture sound from.
Group these sources together.
Open advanced audio properties and assign each source to the appropriate track (stream, VOD, or recording).
Adjust volume levels in the audio mixer.
Disable Unwanted Audio Sources:
Go to File - Settings in OBS.
Under the Audio section, set all Global Audio Devices to DISABLED.
Accept the changes.
Now you can handle audio input/output recording separately for each scene
