How to Hide your Games from Profile on Steam Deck (Fast Tutorial)
1To hide your games from your Steam profile on your Steam Deck, follow these steps:
1. Open Steam Settings:
Press the Steam button to open the main menu.
Scroll down and select Settings.
2. Go to Privacy Settings:
In the Settings menu, select the Account tab.
Click on the View my profile option to open your Steam profile.
3. Edit Profile Privacy Settings:
On your profile page, click the Edit Profile button.
In the Edit Profile section, go to the Privacy Settings tab on the left side of the screen.
4. Adjust Game Details Visibility:
In the Privacy Settings menu, find the section labeled My Profile or Game details.
By default, this may be set to "Public," meaning anyone can see your game library and playtime.
To hide your games, change this setting to Private or Friends Only:
Private: Only you can see your game library and playtime.
Friends Only: Only people on your friends list can see your game details.
5. Hide Specific Games (Optional):
If you prefer to hide only specific games, go to your game library:
In your Library, find the game you want to hide.
Right-click (or press and hold on the Steam Deck's touchscreen) the game.
Choose Manage and then select Hide this game. This will remove the game from your visible library, though it will still be installed and playable.
6. Verify Changes:
Once you’ve adjusted the settings, you can view your profile to confirm that your games are hidden or only visible to the selected audience.
