Inserting and removing a microSD card on your Steam Deck is quite straightforward. Here are the steps:

Inserting a MicroSD Card:
Locate the Slot: The microSD card slot is on the bottom right side of the Steam Deck.

Insert the Card: Gently push the microSD card into the slot until you hear a click. The card should be flush with the edge of the device.
Format the Card:

Press the Steam button to open the menu.
Go to Settings - System.
Scroll down and select Format SD Card.
Confirm the action and wait for the process to complete.
Set as Default Storage (Optional):

Go to Settings - Storage.
Select the microSD card and press X to set it as the default storage location for games1.
Removing a MicroSD Card:

Eject the Card:
Press the Steam button to open the menu.
Go to Settings - Storage.

Select the microSD card and choose Eject.
Remove the Card: Gently push the card in until you hear a click, then release it. The card will pop out slightly, allowing you to remove it.
