About this video: Making a PaperMC server in 1.19.3 is a great way to create a high-quality, high-performance Minecraft server that allows you to use things like plugins and get a higher TPS out of your Minecraft 1.19.3 server. So, without anymore delay, here is how to create a Paper Minecraft server in 1.19.3!
First things first, you need to download the Paper Server file. You can find a link in the description above to download Paper. That will take you to our text tutorial for getting Paper 1.19.3. On this page, click the ‘Download Paper’ button to be taken to Paper’s official download page. Here, you will see the 1.19.3 versions of Paper. Click the blue icon next to the most recent version. This will have a number on it. When you do, Paper 1.19.3 will start downloading. You may need to keep or save the file depending on your browser.
Next, we need to actually make your Paper 1.19.3. server. First, create a folder on your desktop called ‘Paper 1.19.3 Server’. Move the Paper file you downloaded into this folder. Then, rename the paper jar file you downloaded to simply ‘paper.jar’. This is important as your server won’t start if you don’t do this.
At this point, right-click in the folder, select ‘New’ and the ‘Text Document’. Open the text document and copy the code from the description above into the text document. Then, click save as and save the document as ‘run.bat’. Make sure you change the save type to all files as well.
Now, double-click the run.bat file you created. When, you do, your 1.19.3 Paper Minecraft server will try to start, but end up failing. You will have an EULA.txt file though. Open this file, and change ‘EULA=false’ to ‘EULA=true’ as long as you agree to the Minecraft EULA. Save the file, and double-click the run.bat file again. Your Minecraft 1.19.3 Paper server will start!
You can add plugins to this server and test them locally on your computer.
For you to join this server, you will use the IP ‘localhost’. For your friends to join, they will need to join with your public IP address after you have port forwarded.
How do you port forward for a PaperMC server? Well, we have a complete guide on that in the description above. Just know you will forward port 25565 on the TCP and UDP protocols.
Nevertheless, that is how to make a Paper Minecraft server in 1.19.3. If you have any questions about how to create a PaperMC server in 1.19.3, let us know in the comments. We will try our best to help you out.
