How to Make an Uptime Command on Twitch with Nightbot
The Nightbot Uptime command allows viewers to see how long you have been live streaming for. Uptime is great for transparency with viewers from different regions, as if gives them a better understanding of how long your stream will continue.
Creating an uptime command with Nightbot requires you to set a custom command. Custom commands can be created through the Nightbot dashboard, or in the Twitch chat.
To create an uptime command with Nightbot you will need to enter in a coded response. This will allow Nightbot to source the required information in real time.
An uptime command will only show the live time on the current session. Unfortunately if your stream goes offline during a stream, and you restart it, the uptime will not carry over.
