This is our complete guide on how to play Minecraft fullscreen. This allows you have to have a ton more immersion when playing Minecraft, and truthfully, let’s you experience Minecraft on smaller monitors better than play Minecraft in windowed mode can.

Let’s start off with Minecraft Java Edition. In order to make Minecraft Java Edition fullscreen, open up Minecraft Java and then on the main menu, select the “Options” button to got the Options Menu. Then, click on “Video Settings”. On the left-hand column, you will seee “Fullscreen: OFF”. Click this to set it to “Fullscreen: ON”, and select the “Done” button at the bottom of the screen. Minecraft will now be made fullscreen.

This setting will persist after you stop playing Minecraft and open it again meaning that Minecraft Java Edition will remain fullscreen when you open it again. There is another Fullscreen setting you can change for Java Edition, and that is the “Fullscreen Resolution” setting. This will let you change the specific resolution Minecraft is at and make it different from what your current monitor resolution is. This can help improve performance if MInecraft is lagging.

After Java Edition, we can move on how to make Minecraft Bedrock Edition fullscreen. This can be done by going to the “Settings” button on the main menu. Then, scroll down on the left-hand side to the “Video” section. Here, you will see a toggle for Fullscreen. Click that, and Minecraft Bedrock Edition will instantly go fullscreen on your computer.

The next time you open up Minecraft Bedrock Edition, it will remain fullscreen, and you won’t have to change the fullscreen setting each time you open Minecraft.
