About this video: This video is our guide on how to make Minecraft fullscreen on PC. There are multiple ways to make Minecraft fullscreen, and you can even easily toggle fullscreen on and off. This is great if you need to quickly close fullscreen and access something else on your computer while play Minecraft.
To get started, you will want to open up Minecraft. The first method we are going to be going over for making Minecraft fullscreen is by using the Options menu. So navigate to “Options” and “Video Settings”. Then, find the “Fullscreen” setting and set that to “On”. Instantly, Minecraft Java Edition will become fullscreen.
At the top of the “Video Settings” tab, you will see a “Fullscreen Resolution” option. This allows you to set your Minecraft resolution while fullscreen. This can be helpful if you want to increase Minecraft’s performance by lowering your resolution while still playing fullscreen. However, generally, you will want to keep this the same as your monitor’s resolution.
However, using the Fullscreen setting isn’t the only way to make Minecraft Java Edition fullscreen. You can also use a hotkey.
Specifically, you can use the F11 key on your keyboard to make Minecraft fullscreen on PC. This can be toggled meaning that you can toggle fullscreen on and off easily for Minecraft using F11. This will use the fullscreen resolution set in the Options, Video Settings menu, so it is still import to configure that to the resolution you want to use.
