Step 1: Input
Create a Receipt:
Go to Inventory -- Receipts.
Create a new receipt and select the appropriate supplier and purchase order.
Input Products:
Add the received products to the receipt, specifying quantities and other relevant details.
Crucially, instead of directly posting to stock, you'll input them into a designated input location. This location can be a staging area, quality control area, or any other location where incoming products are initially processed.
Step 2: Transfer to Stock
Create a Transfer:
Once the products have been inspected, processed, or otherwise prepared, create a new internal transfer.
Source the products from the input location and destination them to the appropriate stock location.
Confirm Transfer:
Confirm the transfer to complete the process and update your inventory levels.
