How to Open GOOGLE Play Store on Google TV (100% Works!)
2Accessing the Google Play Store on Google TV is a little different than on other Android devices because the dedicated Play Store app is not immediately visible on the main screen. However, there are a few straightforward ways to open it.
Using Google Assistant
The quickest and easiest way is to use the Google Assistant voice command. Simply press the Google Assistant (or MIC) button on your remote control and say "Open Google Play Store" or "Google Play." The app should then launch automatically.
Using the Settings Menu
You can also navigate to the Play Store through your TV's settings. Follow these steps:
Press the HOME button on your remote.
Navigate to Settings.
Select Apps.
Choose See all apps.
Scroll down until you find and select the Google Play Store.
You can then select Open to launch the store.
Other Methods
The Play Store app is generally hidden, but the "Apps" tab on the home screen serves as the primary way to find and install apps. When you use the search function within the "Apps" tab, you are essentially searching the Google Play Store.
Alternatively, some users have found success with third-party applications like Button Mapper, which allows you to remap a button on your remote to directly open the Google Play Store.
