Certainly! When you want to turn on your Nintendo Switch while it’s connected to your TV, follow these steps:
Using the Official Dock:
Take your Nintendo Switch dock and open the cover on the back.
Connect an HDMI cable to the dock’s HDMI port.
Plug in the Switch power adapter (the one that comes in the box) into the “Power Adapter” USB-C port on the dock.
Close the cover on the back, ensuring that the cables are threaded through the small opening on the side.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV.
Plug the adapter into the wall.
Carefully seat your Switch in the dock and turn it on. You don’t need to have the Joy-Con controllers connected while it’s in the dock; you can remove them and use them as separate controllers.
Turning On Your TV with Your Nintendo Switch:
Open your system settings by pressing the gear icon on the Nintendo Switch home screen.
Scroll down and select TV Output.
Head to Match TV Power State and turn it on.
Now, you’ll be able to turn on your TV by holding down the home button on your Nintendo Switch controller 123.
Enjoy your gaming on the big screen!
