12Playing GTA 5 Online with your PS4 friends on a PS5 is possible due to cross-gen compatibility between the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. Here's how to do it:
1. Check Which Version of GTA 5 Online You’re Using
PS5 Enhanced Version:
This is the upgraded version specifically for the PS5. PS4 players cannot join sessions in this version.
PS4 Version on PS5:
You can install and play the PS4 version of GTA 5 on your PS5 to join your PS4 friends.
2. Install the PS4 Version of GTA 5 on Your PS5
Check Your Game Library:
Go to your Game Library on your PS5.
Look for the PS4 version of GTA 5.
Download the PS4 Version:
Select the PS4 version and download it to your console.
Launch the PS4 Version:
Ensure you’re starting the PS4 version of the game, not the PS5 Enhanced version.
3. Add and Join PS4 Friends
