To reconnect your PS5 controller back to your PS5 console, follow these simple steps:

Method 1: Using a USB Cable
Turn On Your PS5 Console:
Make sure your PS5 is powered on.

Connect with USB Cable:
Use the included USB-C cable to connect the PS5 controller to one of the USB ports on your console. This automatically starts the pairing process if the controller isn't already paired.

Press the PS Button:
Once connected, press the PS button on the controller. This should wake up the controller and it should connect immediately. If it doesn't, you might need to wait a few seconds. The light bar on the controller should light up, indicating a connection.

Method 2: Via Bluetooth (If Controller Was Previously Paired)
Power On the Controller:
If your controller has some charge, press the PS button to turn it on. If it was previously paired with the PS5, it might connect automatically.

If Not Connected Automatically:
If the controller doesn't connect, turn off the PS5 controller by holding down the PS button until the light bar turns off. Then, press and hold the PS button again to turn it back on. This should initiate a reconnect if the console is on.

Method 3: Manual Pairing Mode (If Not Paired or After Reset)
Reset the Controller:
Use a paperclip or similar tool to press the reset button located on the back of the controller near the L2 button for about 5 seconds. This will reset the controller.

Enter Pairing Mode:
After resetting, press and hold the PS button and the Create button simultaneously until the light bar starts flashing in a pattern, indicating it's in pairing mode.

Go to PS5 Settings:
On your PS5, go to Settings - Accessories - Bluetooth Accessories. Your controller should appear as "DualSense Wireless Controller" in the list.
Select the Controller:

Choose your controller from the list to pair it. The light bar on the controller should stop flashing once paired and show a steady color.
